Raw, your colour reads 1.21:1 on the dark page, under the 3:1 minimum for a UI mark. Folio lifts it to #506278 by measurement, the smallest step that clears the bar, so the mark stays recognisably yours.
Runs entirely in this page, on the same functions that generate a live tenant stylesheet. Text on a fill is checked against #ffffff white, exactly as the save-time validator does.
Integrity by construction
A detector guesses. A reference either resolves or it does not.
Detection software returns a probability about a student, which an honest student cannot appeal and an academic-integrity officer cannot defend. Folio does not score people. It keeps the record: which sources were verified against Crossref and OpenAlex, which were retracted, how the draft was built across saved revisions, and what assistance was disclosed.
The record is built from saved revisions of the document. Folio does not log keystrokes and does not build behavioural profiles of students.

Right-to-left and bidirectional layout are first-class throughout the interface, and each script is set in a face chosen for it rather than in a Latin font asked to cope. An institution can set its own default language, and a reader can override it.
